Petunia, the girl who was NOT a princess book

I thought this would of been a cute book for my daughter to read.  She is 5 years old, and a tom boy to the max!  I was disappointed that this turned out to be an e-book.  My daughter does have an I-Pad.  But, she can't read all by herself quite yet (she's getting there though!).  She didn't quite understand why it wasn't a "real" book.  After reading this book... She loved it.  I thought it was adorable!  The book had a great message.  The message I got out of it was:  That you don't always have to be perfect!  It also showed my daughter that liking to get messy is OK and, it is not just for boys.

Majestic Bombay Blackhead Blemish Remover and Acne Pimple Extractor

I get blackheads all the time.  Especially around my mouth and they are never, ever easy to get out.  I have heard a lot about extractor tools. I have also heard some very mixed reviews about the extractor tools.  That they aren't very easy to use, that they hurt, that you have to use so much pressure to get the blackhead out that it leaves an indentation on your skin.  I decided to try this out myself to get my opinion.  First thing I noticed was that it is stainless steel.  Which means it is easy to clean.  And, sanitary.  Second, this did not come with instructions and I had NO idea how to use this thing.  I had to get online and look at other websites (youtube mostly) to see how to get it to work.  At first, I thought it was hard.  But, after a few tries.. I realized that it was quite easy.  It takes a few tries to get it down.  I don't think it hurt.  I personally thought it was quite gentle.  And, it extracts blackheads quite well :)

I love, love, LOVE hair masks.  They are amazing for my severely damaged hair.  This mask is AMAZING!  I use this mask in the shower.  After I shampoo, I generously apply this mask.  I let it sit for a good 10 minutes while I'm in the shower.  Then, I rinse it out then, condition my hair normally.  The smoothness and softness this gives my hair is beyond amazing.  My hair is so easy to comb through after my shower.  It gives my hair a very moisturized look.  Which is very hard since my hair is so damaged.  My hair normally looks dry and hard to style.  This mask also smells so good.

I kept looking for something wrong with it.  I couldn't find ONE thing wrong!  When I purchased this, I received it way faster than most products.  It smells of peppermint.  I love that smell.  It's refreshing and it feels great on the skin.  Cooling and soothing.  This product worked so well under my eyes.  I get bags under them.  Thank you kids!  It helped the puffiness go down in minutes.  I use it under my makeup and it absorbs faster than most moisturizers.  It also doesn't ruin the makeup you put on top of it.  My skin is combination skin.  I don't worry too much about oiliness.  But, since I put it on near my t-zone.. It is well worth the cost and then some.  It will last you for a good amount of time.

I wasn't really sure what to expect with this product.  It looked pretty cool to me.  And, I love things that exfoliate because I use spray on tanning products.  And, if you use spray on tanning products... you know that exfoliation is the key to keeping the tan on your skin.  It came with 2 tools and 2 plastic strings.  One tool said "face", which was smaller than the other tool that said "body".  They strings attach on the tools so you can hang them up in your shower.  I was nervous to try this product out because of the edge.  I know, the description said "blunt, not sharp", but you never know!  I was surprised that it was far from sharp.  I tried it on my body first.  After I shaved.  And I noticed a difference instantly.  My legs felt SO much smoother.  Then, I tried it on my face after I washed my face.  I was surprised to see that there was still makeup on my skin after taking a peek at the tool after 2 swipes.  And, again I felt the difference immediately.  My face felt so much smoother.  My tan lasted 3 days longer than it normally did as well.  This is a great product to try if you love to exfoliate or even are new to exfoliating your skin!

I've heard a lot of great things about this mud mask.  Nothing but rave reviews.  So, I was so excited when I got chosen to review this mask.  I wanted so badly to love it.It doesn't have a smell.  It does feel very smooth with a faint grainy texture.  After I applied a thin layer I immediately noticed my face starting to burn.  And, I though it was something that maybe would just go away after a minute.  It didn't.  You are supposed to leave it on for 10-15 minutes.  I didn't even make it to 5 minutes.  It burned so badly.  

I'm not sure if the mask was supposed to burn.  Or, if my skin just didn't agree with it.  When, I took it off my skin wasn't red.  Or blotchy.  And, it was smooth and felt hydrated.  I will be trying it again knowing it didn't leave a rash or a burnt look to my face just to see if it was a fluke thing that just happened that once!  It is a good product none the less though!

This is yet another amazing product by Dot & Dot!  I have this filled with a lot of hospital essentials for when I give birth.  It's the perfect size for my hospital bag.  But, it doesn't have to be used as just a hospital bag.  You can use it for really anything.  Putting your children's travel toys in, snacks, your makeup, anything that you need to take when you travel, storage.  The uses are truly endless.

I have a few of Dot & Dot bags and love every single one.  I can't say enough good things about this product and company.  I really hope they have more promotions soon!  I can't wait to see the other products they offer!!!!  And, since Christmas is coming up.. this would make a great, GREAT present for ANYONE.. even the hardest of people to shop for.

Dot & Dot Small Travel Organizer

If you have been reading my reviews for a while now.. You will already know how much I LOVE Dot & Dot products.  They are amazing and have so many uses!  The size of this travel organizer is 11"x6.75"x3".  It is a little on the smaller side.  But, none the less it works out amazingly.

Why do I love Dot & Dot products so much?  They are so versitile.  I have used my previous ones in my salon kit for cosmetology school.  They are roomy, keep things organized.  And, with the mesh front.. It is easy to figure out what is in the bag without dumping everything out.  

These bags are so well made too.  They are quite durable.  They are also really easy to clean.  I have kids...and, have already experienced spills on my bags already.  And, to my surprised the spill cleaned off easily and it looked brand new.  This specific bag- I put all of my serums and creams in.  And, at first I thought there was no way all of the bottles would fit in.  More than 80% of the bottles fit in the bag.  So, it may not look like a lot of room.  But, boy!  Looks are deceiving!

This serum has helped me with this problem.  It moisturized my skin without needing to put a moisturizer cream on my skin.  Immediately I noticed a difference.  The chapped feeling went away within minutes.  This product doesn't have a nasty smell to it either.  I will be using this product daily!

Pure Care Natural Bathroom Cleaner

Formulated with all natural ingredients.  It is designed to clean and remove mildew, hard water, soap scum and all bathroom surfaces.  This cleaner is free of harsh chemicals like: bleach, MEA, DEA, VOCs, and dyes. It isn't tested on animals and my personal favorite: made in the USA.
