I received the purple color headphones.  My 6 year old daughter has gone through about 3-4 pairs of headphones SINCE Christmas!  Kids are very hard on their headphones.  The problem that I always find is:  My daughter does not like the ear bud headphones, they hurt her ears.  She likes headphones with cushion on them.  The headphones with cushion on them seem to be pricey and the quality is not worth the cost.  After I purchased the last headphones, I told her to take good care of them because these were the last ones I would buy unless its what she put on her Christmas list.  I watched her when she used them and put them away.  She took good care of them but, they still didn't last. So, I chose to try these.  She picked purple.  Looking at them, they look like any other cushion headphones.  I opened them, and they are so cushion-y.  They work well and do not allow the sound (even at the highest level) to hurt her eardrums.  They are quite durable.  She has dropped them and accidentally stepped on them.
