My fiance has very thick toe nails.  He has bought a few clippers that have claimed to be able to handle thick nails.  Then, after 2 uses they got super dull.  It is disappointing spending a lot of money on things that didn't work.  These are great!  They easily cut his nails.  And, they have stayed very sharp after 2 uses.
